Carlos Monroe Jr. was born on July 22, 1994, in Chicago, Illinois. He boxes highly successfully in the 165 lb. weight class. Carlos is now a “8″ time Golden Glove State Champion – a “6″ time Georgia Games Champion – a “2″ time Regional Champ ( Junior Olympic Regional and Golden Glove Regional). In 2010, Carlos was ranked ” 9th” in the Nation at the Junior Olympics, in the 165 lb. weight class. In 2012, he was ranked “3rd” at the National P.A.L.(Police Athletic League) Tournament. Carlos’ ambition and desire now, is to expand his resume with continuous hard work in the ring and the classroom- studying and training, in that order. The son of Carlos Monroe Sr. and Felicia Glover, Carlos moved to Lithonia, Ga. in 1998. He was enrolled in Tae Kwon Do at the age of 4 – and by 8 yrs. old, Carlos had ranked #1 in the state of Georgia, for his division. He later decided to play football, where he played several different positions. Then, at 10 years old, he wanted to box with Al Brown and Mr. Biggs- two boxing authorities. Carlos is now 19 yrs. old and a high school graduate- who plans to further his education in Business, while still working towards his dream of becoming a Professional Boxer.
